Street Shuffle

Summary:

Street Shuffle is a card combat game I made when I was working for Massdigi. During the gameplay players will be involved in many battles, and the main character will need to pick cards from her teammates and use the cards picked against her enemies.

Responsibilities

  • Launched on Apple Store and Google Play Store. Implemented Unity Ads as revenue method.

  • Cooperated as a team of 7 to agile developed a mobile combat card game in 70 days

  • Designed card sets & combat mechanics to create unique experience.

  • Undertook programming tasks, implement cards and mechanics.

Card Detective

Summary:

This is a card game editor that developers can use to tell any detective story they want without writing any code. Players will interact with the cards to get more clues and finally find the truth. To achieve that, I visualized game conditions and separate conditions and players’ behavior. Developers can set conditonial events by creating cards.

Discounted Bundle Design

Summary:

I used Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War as my baseline game and designed a discounted bundle system to encourage players to do more in-game purchases. The system took reverse engineering and existing store style into careful consideration.

Gomoku AI

Summary:

Gomoku is a board game. The player who form an unbroken chain of five pieces horizontally, vertically, or diagonally is the winner. The project I built a gomoku AI to play against player.

  • AI design, using Unity

Bulkhead

Summary:

Bulkhead is a tower defense and TPS game. Players can build turrets, collect snow from the ground, and use the snow as ammo to defend enemy attack.

Responsibilities:

Gameplay engineer, using C++ and Unreal Blueprint

WPI IMGD ESCAPE ROOM 2019

Summary:

We designed and built an escape room on WPI campus. Theme of the escape room is SCP. Our team consisted of 18 people and is divided into teams of 5-6 with different purpose.
